FUSS Meals — Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 20 May 2026

Welcome to FUSS Meals. These Terms and Conditions explain how our service works, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you when you book and attend a FUSS Meal.

By using our website, completing an onboarding form, purchasing a ticket, using a FUSS Pass, booking a meal or attending a FUSS Meals experience, you agree to these Terms.
1. About FUSS Meals
FUSS Meals is a service by FUSS that helps people meet in real life through small-group social meals, including dinners, brunches, lunches, breakfasts and other dining experiences.

We collect onboarding information from participants, match people into groups based on shared context, preferences and interests, and coordinate meals at restaurants, bars, cafés or other venues.

FUSS is not a restaurant, bar, catering provider or venue operator. We organise the matching, grouping, booking coordination and communications around the experience.

2. How the service works
To attend a FUSS Meal, you may be asked to:
  • complete an onboarding form;
  • provide your name, email address and WhatsApp number;
  • answer questions that help us match you with the right group;
  • select an available meal, dinner, brunch, lunch or other event date;
  • purchase a ticket or use a FUSS Pass;
  • receive event information and reminders through WhatsApp, email or other communication channels.
We use your onboarding answers to help create groups that are likely to have a good experience together. While we do our best to create thoughtful matches, we cannot guarantee that every participant will enjoy every group, conversation, venue or experience.

3. Tickets, passes and payments
A FUSS Meals ticket gives you access to the matching, coordination and organisation of a specific FUSS Meal.
Unless clearly stated otherwise, your ticket does not include the cost of food, drinks, service charge or any other amount charged by the venue.

Each participant is responsible for paying for their own food, drinks and any other personal charges directly at the restaurant, bar, café or venue.

If a group decides to split the bill, this is arranged directly between the participants and the venue. FUSS is not responsible for how the bill is split or paid at the venue.

A FUSS Pass may allow you to book multiple meals using prepaid tickets or credits. The specific number of meals included, validity period and any other conditions will be shown at the point of purchase.

4. Refunds and rescheduling
You may reschedule your FUSS Meals booking or request a full refund up to 24 hours before the scheduled meal date and time.
After this 24-hour window has passed, refunds and rescheduling are no longer available.

This is because late cancellations and changes affect table distribution, group matching, venue coordination and the experience of other participants.

To request a refund or reschedule, please contact us through the channel specified in your booking confirmation or event communication.

5. Late arrivals and no-shows
Please arrive on time for your meal. If you are running late, we ask that you let us or your group know where possible.

If you confirm attendance but do not show up, we may record this as a no-show.
We reserve the right to suspend or ban a user from attending future FUSS Meals if they repeatedly confirm attendance and fail to attend. This includes, but is not limited to, users who no-show for three or more meals.

6. Behaviour and community rules
FUSS Meals is designed to create respectful, enjoyable and safe social experiences.
By attending a FUSS Meal, you agree to behave respectfully towards other participants, venue staff and anyone involved in the experience.
We do not tolerate:
  • violence, threats or intimidation;
  • harassment, discrimination or bullying;
  • aggressive, rude or disruptive behaviour;
  • unwanted sexual behaviour or inappropriate comments;
  • behaviour that makes other participants feel unsafe or uncomfortable;
  • damage to property;
  • refusal to follow reasonable instructions from venue staff or FUSS.
We reserve the right to remove, suspend or permanently ban any participant from future FUSS Meals if we believe they have behaved disruptively, disrespectfully, unsafely or in a way that negatively affects other participants.

7. Other participants
FUSS helps introduce people, but we do not control the behaviour, opinions, actions or intentions of participants.

You are responsible for your own interactions with other people you meet through FUSS Meals.

We encourage participants to use normal personal safety judgement when meeting new people, including when choosing whether to share personal contact details, continue conversations after the meal, or meet again independently.

FUSS is not responsible for the behaviour of other participants before, during or after a meal.

8. Venues and venue staff
FUSS Meals may take place at restaurants, bars, cafés, private dining rooms, co-working spaces or other venues.

We do our best to select appropriate venues for each group, but we do not own or operate these venues.

FUSS is not responsible for:
  • the quality, availability or pricing of food or drinks;
  • venue service standards;
  • delays, errors or cancellations by the venue;
  • venue staff behaviour;
  • noise levels, seating arrangements or atmosphere;
  • allergies, dietary handling or food safety at the venue;
  • any injury, loss or damage caused by the venue or its staff.
Any issues relating to food, drinks, service, bills, venue facilities or venue staff should be raised directly with the venue.

9. Dietary requirements and allergies
We may ask you to provide dietary preferences or restrictions so that we can take them into account when organising the meal.

However, FUSS does not prepare or serve food. The venue is responsible for food preparation, allergen information and dietary accommodations.

If you have an allergy or serious dietary requirement, you must confirm this directly with the venue before ordering or consuming food or drinks.

10. Changes and cancellations by FUSS
Sometimes we may need to change or cancel a meal due to low attendance, venue availability, operational issues, safety concerns or other circumstances outside our control.

If we cancel a meal, we will offer you a reschedule option or refund where appropriate.

If we need to change the venue, timing or other details, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible.

11. Contact sharing after meals
As part of the FUSS Meals experience, participants may be able to share contact details with people they attended a meal with.

We will only share the contact details that you have specifically chosen to provide for this purpose, such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Telegram, WhatsApp number or another contact method.

You are not required to share your contact details with other participants.
If another participant shares their contact details with you, you agree to use them respectfully and not for spam, harassment, marketing or any other inappropriate purpose.

12. Use of WhatsApp and third-party tools
FUSS may use WhatsApp, email, Stripe, Tally, Typeform, booking tools, analytics tools and other third-party platforms to operate the service.

By using FUSS Meals, you understand that some parts of the experience may happen through these third-party services.

Third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies, and FUSS is not responsible for their independent processing, technical availability or service interruptions.

13. User account and access
Where user accounts or profile pages are available, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

You must not attempt to access another person’s account, booking details, onboarding answers or contact information.

Any misuse of the platform, including attempts to scrape, copy, access or expose participant data, may result in immediate suspension or legal action.

14. Intellectual property
All FUSS branding, website content, product design, matching logic, copy, visuals, event formats, software, operational processes and related materials belong to FUSS or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially use our materials without written permission.

15. Limitation of liability
FUSS provides a social matching and meal coordination service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FUSS is not liable for:
  • the behaviour of participants;
  • the behaviour of venue staff;
  • the quality or safety of food and drinks;
  • personal injury, illness, loss or damage caused by a venue or another participant;
  • indirect or consequential loss;
  • disappointment with a match, group, conversation or venue;
  • costs incurred at the venue;
  • travel costs or other expenses connected to attending a meal.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

16. Suspension and termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to FUSS Meals if you:
  • breach these Terms;
  • behave in a way that affects the safety or enjoyment of others;
  • repeatedly fail to attend confirmed meals;
  • misuse participant data;
  • attempt to interfere with the service;
  • provide false or misleading information.

17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on our website with the updated date.

If you continue using FUSS Meals after the Terms are updated, you will be considered to have accepted the updated Terms.

18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
